SUMMARY:Financially Safer HBCUs
DESCRIPTION:Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs) educate roughly 1 in 10 Black college students\, and have a better track record than most predominantly white institutions (PWIs) of helping individuals from the bottom 40% of the income ladder advance to the top 60%. Joshua Etienne and Jonathan Lewis from uAspire will discuss some of the conflicting research about HBCUs and share a list of specific institutions that uAspire recommends as financially safer options.
