SUMMARY:Metro Parks Youth Councils
DESCRIPTION:Each community center will have its own Youth Council focused on community service\, planning events\, and advocating for youth in their communities. \nCouncils will meet twice a month and are a dedicated space for Youth Voice. An adult facilitator will be present to guide the team\, but the projects\, events\, and focuses of each council will be a result of what YOU as the youth of Tacoma choose. \nMetro Parks Youth Councils are open to youth ages 13-18 who call the Tacoma area home. You will self select the Community Center Council you want to join. We encourage students to choose the center that best represents your chosen community- whether that’s where you attend school\, live\, work\, or play.
