This summer for the first time MESA is offering a series of one-week summer camps for middle school students covering STEM topics, such as Engineering, Gaming, Aeronautics and Robotics. The summer camp is designed to focus on four STEM topics and will be held in four different locations. Each camp will serve 25 students. Students will be allowed to participate in one camp only, Monday through Friday, with a topical field trip each Friday.
Who can attend: The camps are designed for middle school students. Students must be entering or attending middle school in the 2019/20 school year (ages 11-14).
How much will the camps cost: The camp is free and open to middle school students only.
MESA STEM Summer Camp schedule is as follows:
Each camp will be held 8:30 am – 12:30 pm, with the exception of Camp 4 which is an evening camp and will be held 5:30 pm – 8:30 pm with a day field trip on Friday August 9th. Camps will include snacks.
