DESCRIPTION:The Willie Stewart Community Service Scholarship program celebrates and recognizes Pierce County high school seniors who have given back to their community through volunteer service. Scholarships in the amount of $2\,500 are awarded to graduating seniors in a competitive process. In 2023\, 14 local seniors received this scholarship.

DESCRIPTION:Communities In Schools’ Winter Wish Holiday Event is right around the corner\, and they need the support of our amazing friends to volunteer. \nIf you are available to volunteer\, here are the details:\n\nSaturday\, December 16th\n10:45am-2:30pm\nGray Middle School’s Gym (6229 S Tyler St)\n\nVolunteers will help students try on and select a new coat\, hat and gloves. Volunteers will also serve refreshments and distribute take home crafts.
