DESCRIPTION:Metro Parks Youth Councils are a new youth leadership opportunity. Each community center will have its own Youth Council focused on community service\, planning events\, and advocating for youth in their communities.\nCouncils will meet twice a month and are a dedicated space for Youth Voice. An adult facilitator will be present to guide the team\, but the projects\, events\, and focuses of each council will be a result of what YOU as the youth of Tacoma choose. \nMetro Parks Youth Councils are open to youth ages 13-18 who call the Tacoma area home.
