Proposition 1 is a $650 million bond measure maturing over a maximum of 25 years. \nProp. 1 would replace or renovate 11 aging neighborhood schools. It would also provide basic improvements across the school district; expand quality learning and teaching environments; and make health\, safety and security upgrades. \nProp.  1 also invests in our neighborhood schools\, benefiting the entire community by making sure children receive the best education in the safest environments we can give them. \nEvery vote counts.
