DESCRIPTION:Purpose: The MSL program encourages and inspires students entering 8th-11th grade to develop a passion for science\, technology\, engineering\, mathematics\, and develop the leadership and academic skills necessary to pursue a career in STEM fields.\nSummer Theme: Climate Change and Climate Justice\nHow will students learn? Over the course of the program\, students will have opportunities to learn about real-world topics\, develop their skill set\, meet professionals in the STEM field\, work on projects\, and make new friends! Students will learn about the science behind climate change\, speak with scientists\, and create projects to help communities.\nDates: July 19th – August 6th\, 2021 (3 weeks)\nTime: M/W/F from 1-3 PM\nWho can apply?
