In June 2019, the Foundation for Tacoma Students announced a one-time investment from the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation to deepen the capacity and capability of the Graduate Tacoma community-wide movement. This investment presents an opportunity to elevate our collective action through sub-grant funding in three investment areas and, most importantly, strengthen our ability to improve outcomes for all students. Honoring our shared learning agenda, we are calling this initiative the Graduate Tacoma Community Learning Fund.
This portal includes everything grant applicants need to successfully submit a proposal for a Community Learning Fund grant. Below, you can link our Request for Proposals (RFP), to all relevant background documentation, and to our submission form. Proposals must be submitted by 5:00 pm on Friday, November 8th. Applicants will be notified of their status in early December.
In order to make the experience as easy as possible, we suggest you visit our RFP to familiarize yourself with the process and timeline, then download and read PDF copies of background documents before filling out the submission form. The form is simple and focuses on several key questions explained in the RFP. Please note that the submission form does not allow you to save your work. Please be sure to have your written answers prepared before beginning the submission form. You can also click here to register for information sessions.
