We convened 1,000+ partners to address a new decade of our work.

Improving outcomes for students would be much more difficult without dedicated partners like you who continue to show up and do the work. We are practitioners, advocates, legislators, funders, and community leaders working together to strategize and innovate lasting impact. Our time together helps build shared understanding of what’s needed to close achievement gaps and address educational inequities.

EMPOWERING EQUITABLE FUTURES

Charting Our Future 2023

We launched Pierce County Pathways, a coordinated system of supports enabling success and economic mobility for all students.

  • We  have granted $14,000 in Campaign Free Aid implementation grants to support financial aid strategies to date.

  • We hosted two summits with 60+ attendees to strengthen the network of financial aid support provided to Pierce County students and their families.

  • Providing support to three school districts and ten high schools in
    • Tacoma, Peninsula, and Franklin-Pierce school districts.
  • 11 team members to respond to each student request within 48 hours.

  • 521 total check-in’s completed by Tacoma Public School students.

  • 172 of those asked for support and received outreach. Of those 172, 37 responded to outreach and got support.
